Pyroluria

What is Pyroluria?

Pyroluria is a liver defect whereby the Liver overproduces pyrrolle. The main component in haem (Haemoglobin). Thereby causing a wide variety of symptoms.

Its possible that because this symptom is related to stress and that haemoglobin is required to transfer blood around the body, that being in stress or fight/flight causes blood to rush to the muscles constantly and the liver has to hastily/continuously produce haemoglobin.

Having an excess of Haemoglobin results in the haem binding to vitamins and minerals, especially Zinc & vitamin B6 they then become excreted in the urine. With a deficiency in these crucial vitamins and minerals, nothing works properly.

Candida and Pyroluria are 2 problems which feed off each other and could well be the underlining cause of many of our modern diseases.

Pyroluria and Candida, just like other modern diseases, have greatly increased in recent decades. However, I have now come to the conclusion that they are not just normal diseases but rather the underlying causes for the epidemic increase of many or most of our modern diseases. Pyroluria and Candida not only cause very similar disease symptoms, they also encourage each other’s development, and if both are present together they make any health problems very much worse.

Pyroluria is a common metabolic condition in which pyrrole, a key component of haem as in haemoglobin, is overproduced in the liver and bone marrow. The surplus binds to vitamin B6 and zinc and is excreted in the faeces and urine, but part of it tends to remain in the body as obstructive waste residues. This creates severe deficiencies in B6 and zinc, and to a lesser degree in some other nutrients, such as niacinamide, gamma linolenic acid (GLA), biotin, and sometimes manganese; also other B-vitamins, especially vitamins B2, B3 and B5, may be low.

Vitamin B6 and zinc are essential for producing enzymes that are required for building all proteins, be they other enzymes, hormones, and neurotransmitters, components of the immune system, muscles, organs or connective tissue. Another major problem is that pyrrole waste chemicals tend to inhibit the conversion of pyridoxine, the common form of vitamin B6 in food, into its active form pyridoxal-5-phosphate or P5P. In a vicious circle deficiency of P5P reduces the synthesis of haem and haemoglobin, and increases formation of pyrrole wastes.”

The firsts steps in improving this condition are to supplement with extra Zinc & Vitamin B6. These 2 best forms of these I have found are P5P, the activated form of B6 and Zinc Picolinate. Second would be to greatly increase consumption of high quality coconut oil. Coconut oil is not only an effective fungicide which may as a side effect treat candida, but it is readily absorbed by the body, producing easily digestible energy. The medium-chain fatty acids in coconut oil can be absorbed even if gallbladder and pancreas do not work.

“Minimize your exposure to chemicals and radiation. Most important are vitamin B6/P5P, zinc, taurine, carnitine and coconut oil. Other helpful nutrients are lecithin, inositol, TMG, milk thistle or silymarin, antioxidants, B-vitamins, B12 if low in energy, magnesium, and selenium. High ascorbate/MSM helps to detoxify. Stimulate the liver with bitter teas; use half a cup after meals; or take capsules of centaury, dandelion, devil’s claw, gentian, goldenseal, or rosemary. With hepatitis, use the therapy for viral infection in Infections and Inflammations above.

With persistent problems, continue with castor-oil liver packs. Also effective are reflexology, ear acupuncture, and acupuncture meridian therapy. Jaundice can be caused by drugs and chemicals, liver infection, gall-duct blockage, and increased destruction of red blood cells (protect with high amounts of vitamin E), so try to discover the cause of the jaundice. Treat systemically with blue colour therapy.”

Of course many of these symptoms may have other causes, however it would be wise to assume that if any of these conditions are present and chronic, that they would be improved with Pyroluria treatment. This shows how important it is to be aware of this condition and take steps to heal ourselves. We can begin with intestinal sanitation, fasting and cleansing and adopting a healthy diet. Holistic healing involves healing the whole body, which takes a multilevel approach with much dedication and strong will to become healthy again. I am finding this is a long road and is not a straight incline upwards but more akin to 3 steps forward, 1 back.

I have seen great progress in my symptoms after beginning my anti candida program which I have a yet to be released article on this, going into detail of my journey. I believe with a few extra measures my Pyroluria will also be treated as a beneficial side effect. Quite different from the side effects of modern medicine, holistic healing has many positive benefits.

I believe Candida & Pyroluria are at epidemic levels throughout humanity and we would all benefit from addressing this. If we wish to change the world we must begin with ourself. To begin with ourself I find it is best to raise our vibration and begin with healing the body, then the mind, then the soul. To begin with healing the body I think its best to tackle our candida. This involves a multi level approach and the easiest thing to begin changing is our diet. Kerosene treatment is very effective and causes the liver to detoxify. Be aware of what we put into our bodies. Will our food increase our energy or take it away? What does it mean to be truly healthy? Do you know anyone who is 100% Physically, Mentally, Emotionally & spiritually healthy? I don’t and I am very curious to find out what it feels like.
